AK Lovarco
Captain
Capt. A.K. Lovarco and his wife Sara both native Floridian’s, moved to St. Croix in 2010. The dream of living in the Caribean came after a vacation where they were hooked by the laid back lifestyle, sun, surf and friendly people. Soon after they hatched a 10 year plan to chase their dream. Although the dream of saltwater fishing for A.K. started very young when his father and or his cousin would take him fishing at the piers around south Florida. At the age of 6 he was given his first Penn Senator fishing reel and proceeded to develop his addiction. His family moved to central florida where lakes and rivers were more easily available but still he managed to get his fix of saltwater by primarily fishing the shallow waters on the west coast of Florida between Hommassasa Springs and Cedar Key. A.K. and Sara would make annual trips to the Florida Keys for dolphin and lobster and to also visit family and friends where Sara grew up.
